Why Practice Daily Tai Chi Gung?

January 07, 20262 min read

Nothing is constant in this life but change. The older I get the, more rapidly it seems to be changing and it seems more challenging to keep up with it. Seems and challenging are the significant words to notice here. Because of the "seems and challenges", I can loose my peace. When I loose my peace, it is harder to be happy, to trust, to listen and to know what to do next. We all have a reason to be here. We all chose to be here. We all have a mission… something to overcome…something to receive and something to give.

Tai Chi Gung has given me a way to navigate the “seems to be” and the challenges. It provides an internal environment conducive to peace so I can begin to listen…to hear…to know…to trust…to keep moving forward knowing that one choice leads to the next one which leads to the next encounter which gives me the next thing….which gives me more confidence in this whole process of living and being and manifesting my purpose.

In that peace that surpasses understanding there is a quiet where love resides. In this space is a banquet of possibilities. What you think you can and what you think you can’t, you are right….The Laws of the universe function in either direction.

My most valuable asset is through the daily practice of Tai Chi Gung. I can spend some time with the Giver of Life…not just in my head, but I can feel the Love of the Divine in me around me and through me. As I greet my day with this asana, I am given a greater measure of peace which empowers me to keep moving forward in this mission of being a human being that does do what I am here to do.
